We have no choice, let our so call pigeon hole be our property. Not 99 yr lease. Knn, when mati, my next generation might probably have to look for another new sky rocket high price hdb flats. That future generation, more pple gonna suffer. -

Singaporeans are like this one mah, complain kings and queens ya, if not, you dun qualify to be Singaporeans.
Dad said many Singaporeans complain alots about the govt and vote to vote opposition, but when come to election day, they secretly vote for PAP, then tell people they vote opposition. All bluff bluff one lah

Why worry, last time, my grandma also worry about her future generation, she told me that time paid was $100/per and house cost only $10k, as the housing and foods price of her time escalated, she also get worried about we, her grandchildrens future, but now, when she looks at us, she feels she worried for nothing, we are actually surviving better than her generation. So, dun worry ya, the future will align by themselves, in the meantime, enjoy life, it is not long. -

Mr Mah – your time is over and your tenure as Mininster was long overdue when Singaporeans were relegated to the bottom and foreigners were given preferences arbitrarily and also when HDB policies and pricing became preposterously astronomical and bordering on untruths. Worst, it appears no longer to be for the citizens but a monopoly hell bent on squeezin as much money from buyers.
Has any independent organisation or agency verified the so-called pricing, subsidy or what is so often bandied as reasonable ‘pricing’? It is the lack of transparency and refusal to listen and the condescending attitude of PAP that irks Singaporeans. Too bad, you are from the party and it is difficult for anyone to understand when one arrogates power /knowledge and assumes that only one party or the present govt has all the know-how.Sad but true is this – there are many Singapoeans 'better' than the current ruling party and I am sure they can deliver 'better' and most of all put Singaporeans first.
The damage has been done. No amount of rationalizing and putting up statistics (which seems suspect and dubious) to justify your stance or would the cosmetic changes that may be put in place appease the displeasure of Singaporeans.When an incumbent govt (party, in this instance PAP) purports to serve the people but ends up serving party interests - know that the inexorable slide to oblivion has began.
Hope Singaporeans would see thru this charade and end it by voting wisely and intelligently. -

the truth is, it is better that properties go up consistently then go down consistently.
lets imagine now singapore's properties crashed like Dubai, i am pretty sure people here will cry foul against and blame minister for the drop in price. Then start blaming the entire government for leading the country into this problem.
i feel that people who complain too much is highly unproductive and doing it for fun without using much of their brains.

singapore got no natural diseaster, no war, no strikes, no protest, and no 4 seasons to blame on...so naturally, if people want to blame something here, it is only the govt.MRT come late, also govt

While driving to a stop at a traffic junction, i look over to a jam packed bus full of uncles, aunties, foreigners and students,...all squeezed up to the door, as i glanced at them, they glanced back...all must be cursing the govt except those foreigners and the PRC bus driver.
