Yup, that is correct
If u dun perform, be prepared for takeover by someone else

Think out they go most problems can be solved. Again depends on how the new party is running the country.
This idea I will support you 100%.

Dei MAMA!! one more Teh Aliah for Mr Milo.
We have to wait towards the GE time where opposition will propose their agenda, then we will see who have the precious vote.
There will still be the same efficient civil service personnel who run the day to day operation and to formulate the policies whether PAP, WP, RP or SPP is in power.

Don't worry, he will not be running Singapore.

the second part of animal farm story....
singaporean need to view politics more of a process rather than an end...that is to say Don't think in terms of voting PAP completely out....but at the end of the day you want to have the abilities to influent the BILLS that pass in the parliment.
So rather than saying a replacement but a more balance opposition party to distribute power within the parliment would be a desirable outcome. Or else we will see a thru Train and nobody can stop them.
u never try u never know....the problem with our politics is that we never dare take a different stroke
ultimately what is needed for any political party that voted into the parliments they cannot Pass their bill base on Party Line....I think that is the biggerest failure of PAP.
firstly, i wonder if most people understand the rationale behind the price hike in GST etc. i guess most people just care about the bread and butter on the table, seeing things with a myopic view and fail to think about the future?
PAP does come out with some good policies( oh yea FYI, most of the important policies are unpopular, hence only a good government manage to carry them out), i have to admit this. but IMO, its the way they carry out the policies that is causes some 'sore eyes' among its people. nontheless, it still helps the economy.
P.S. do most people even think before they post?

hello, Mr lee..
yes. they don't really support human rights honestly. they are trying to sell their ideas via National Education as compulsory subject in secondary schools, to "educate" how govt work, think and do. Seldom, we get to see them show support to our culture, our dialects and our rights to do what we want. For instance, there used to be cantonese radio programs and such. When they take over, they gradually phased out our very own dialects and such. They only say good things about advancing towards the future and why this and that has to happen, at the end of the day, do they actually care about our feelings, do they respect our dialects? we are either hokkien/cantonese/hakka and etc, but the govt never support any media programs and such for us. ...i am embarrassed to call myself singaporean in that sense. Thinking deeply, I think everyone would like to have government for people, not people for government

For your info, Singapore fails in human right. There were reports from UN and other source talking about no human right in Singapore. UN gave suggestions on this. The pay and pay govt simply ignore it as allowing human right in Singapore is not their cup of tea due to the fact that it will distract and affect their interests.
WE need a govt who is interested to serve the public as their top priority not some greedy, selfish souls who keep increasing the costs of living and impose unreasonable demands on the people.

they never said you cannot speak dialect, just ask you to speak more mandarin only, or so called the putong language. You go around the region, peoples are so envy of singaporeans, get good education, got jobs, got a roof on top and sure to have 3 meals if not good foods on the table, can get to places within minutes, can go tour, can enjoy peace and harmony in a green garden...what else do you want??? if you feel embarass, at any one time, someone in indonesia, philippine, malaysia, mynmar, thailand, vietnam etc etc will like to exchange citizenship with you.
