don't associate me with you. I don't learn a lot from you, I am not into learning from people I don't respect.
We are from different worlds. I don't operate pubs/brothels.

eric how ought to apologise to netizens. PAP should step in to say something since eric how is a member of YPAP. such a soul does not speak well of the image of YPAP.
/me hands everyone milo bing
Fang, it does not matter if that eric does not apologise
It only goes to show his character for all
As for his retribution, i think he might be kicked out of YPAP....
if that happens, everyone will laugh like the world's best joke ever

Since you are so unhappy with the people here , just go ahead to list down what and how you want forumers to talk and behave here.
I want to say it again, not all are blind to what you are up to.
here has any relevance with the topic of our exchanges and are leaning towards name calling and senseless accusation
When did I do name calling to you, quote me examples from this thread? Your motive here is clear with some of us and we are just stating it that is all and nothing to do with accusation. In fact, it is the other way round - you accuse me. Just admit that you are not happy with us for exposing you instead of going round and round ranting, point fingers.
Like I said, if you are so very unhappy with the people here, go surf websites that will make you happy 100%. We are not here to please you so don't keep attacking us in your sneaky, subtle manner.
Your replies are getting too long and diverse for me to answer everyone of them, so I will just lump some of your questions together.
Examples of you calling me names: you called me a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Who care about my job: Just explaining why I am able to reply to your post during office hours.
You being opposition supporter: Fine, I will take that back. How about the term dissident then?
Technically, I have only been conversing with you in this topic, so when did "we" and "us" come in? You appear to be claiming to represent people that do not appeared to have given you their consent to be represented.
Like I said, if you are so very unhappy with the people here, go surf websites that will make you happy 100%.
Isn't this statement similar to asking people who are not happy with PAP's rule to just leave Singapore and go to places they are happy with? Obviously that would not be the right thing to do. We are Singaporeans, if we are not happy with the way the country is being run, we discuss, we participate and we sought to change. At the same time, we respect majority. For example, if it so happens my views are not acceptable, I do not need to change my views, but we can adopt a live and let live attitude. We simply agree to disagree. It is the same for the forums, I may not agree with a lot of the views presented here, but it doesn't mean I boot out. I just say what I think and people judge what they judge. If at the end of the day, we still cannot agree with each other, then we don't. A forum will be a very boring place if everybody sing to the same tune, doesn't matter if the tune is pro or anti PAP. Similarly, a country without diversity is boring and dangerous.

Wolf in sheep's clothing is purely to describe your behaviour.
From wisefool83: A forum will be a very boring place if everybody sing to the same tune, doesn't matter if the tune is pro or anti PAP. ===> wow, twist and turn your words wor, now speak in this manner. If you really mean what you said (in red) you will have no qualms when others state their views and show that they are not in agreement with the ruling party. Look at your own words in your other post: "Like what I said in my last response to you. This is what I mean when I say some of the opposition supporters live in a dichotomy world, if someone says something remotely positive about the PAP, he/she must be a PAP supporter and the PAP must have paid him/her to spread propaganda". Aren't these words in contrary to what you said about forum will be a very boring place .... (in red)? What a contradiction!
Please state how and what forumers should behave in the forum. Please go ahead.
ya mah, last time, speaker's corner was nos 2 in this sgforums ranking, now it goes down to nos 4, i tried so hard to make it up,...but to no avail, cos with people like my aunty, the mode is alway fixed to one side...you can't switch is to other channels...so it become kind of boring and people start to leave, the rest are just cloning themselve to make up the nos, not including me.

Nobody who know you are up to nuisance wants to be associated with you, you need not resort to calling people aunty, uncle to make yourself feel good. You simply show no respect to people.
With you spouting nuisance, cursing forumers, talking dirty here it is no wonder the ranking for this forum drops.
By stating the ranking of this forum, you are disrupting discussion. Atobe may not be around, but there are others who can continue to see thru you.

My preference would be less attention of the camp in which the forumers are in. All too often, people in Speakers' Corner are eager to classify people into either Pro or Anti-PAP camp and the entire argument simply becomes a nit pick exercise between two camp.
Less anger and more rationality. There is no point in sentences like "we have exposed you" or "you are ball carrier" kind of statement. These sentences' sole purpose is to anger your opponent and again reduce the whole argument into senseless and childish quarrels. Both camps are guilty of such behavior. There used to be a time when Atobe will put up political books and arguments would be based on the points of the book. But then came those who simply spam news and articles and then the whole name calling thing begin.
More respect for each other. Fantagf, You claim that I have twisted my words and such. But throughout our entire exchange, have I used any impolite words on you? Have I called you anything other than your nick?
As for "A forum will be a very boring place if everybody sing to the same tune, doesn't matter if the tune is pro or anti PAP. ===> wow, twist and turn your words wor, now speak in this manner. I have not problem with you not in agreement with the ruling party and never have I said that you should change those view points to suit mine.. I simply doesn't agree with your points and stated my own. Are you able to give me an example in which I said you should or need to change your viewpoints? I simply suggest people to be more polite with their disagreement and you can certainly disagree with many of PAP's policy without calling them names or cursing them. At the end of the day, I simply want people who participate in the forum to shut down their PC knowing that they have had some quality exchange with another person and not spend the night pondering what foul words they can throw at their opponents at the next instance.

It seems like you have edited this post while I was replying to it. Aren't these words in contrary to what you said about forum will be a very boring place .... (in red)? What a contradiction!
No, it is not a contradiction. Living in a dichotomy world means being partisan in which there can only be Pro or Anti-PAP. There is a middle area in which many people can be in and people can also switch based on the particular issue. I do not mind people being pro or anti PAP, but the ones in those camp should not be too quick to label each other and argue solely on the basis of camp alignment. I am simply saying that arguments should revolve around topics and issues, not alignment.

That is the exact problem. Many people online are just arguing for the sake of arguing, treating forums as an emotional outlet rather than a platform of intelligent exchange. Come to think of it, maybe it is not such a bad idea to utilise it as an emotional outlet, but at least the forum shouldn't go by the name of speaker's corner then. I am still hoping that internet exchanges can be geared towards being more "civilised" and matured.
Not me hor, i dun argue for the sake of argue, just relax and enjoy posting will do...
