YPAP member Eric How who caused a massive outroar in cyberspace a few weeks ago with his callous remarks on netizens critical of the ruling party. has vowed to shut down the popular 3in1kopitiam forum, a Singapore-based internet chatroom in a posting on the YPAP Facebook Network to Kojakbt, the moderator of 3in1kopitiam forum.
Mr How had earlier slammed netizens for “slapping on the government senselessly” because they did not get “any fruits of benefits” from their forefathers:

In his reply to “kojakbt and friends”, Mr How chided them for attacking the Singapore government in the 3in1kopitiam forum and said that they should blame it on their karma or forefathers instead:
“Do not be bitter and go on slapping on the Government senselessly because you did not get any fruits or benefits from your forefather. You will have to blame on your karma or your forefathers for not getting all the paths right for their off springs.”
Mr How also boasted unashamedly that his “folks” get him a personal car so that he does not need to “squeeze into public transport” like other netizens.
His remarks caused a public backlash against the YPAP leading to KojakBt sending an email to his father Mr How Jong Wan to complain about his behavior:
“Your son Eric is really becoming quite famous on the Internet…..I suggest you should seriously discipline your son for saying such things in public. There are many people in Singapore not doing well and being rich does not give your son the right to look down at people or blame on people’s forefathers!”
The elder How is the Vice Chairman of Kampung Kembangan Community Club Management Committee under East Coast GRC. He was a recipient of The Public Service Medal and The National Day Award in 2004.
It appears that Mr How remains unfazed by the negative publicity he had received from netizens based on his latest reply yesterday to Kojakbt:

In his comment, Mr How claimed his family was very “supportive” of him as he did nothing wrong by speaking the “truth”:
“Stubborn donkeys like you just do not wanna hear the truth. I am still enjoying myself and busy doing my own business rather than doing unproductive stuffs like nagging on the forum anonymously.”
He also boasted about changing a new car:
“BTW, I am changing my car again and so what? I made those money and I have the rights to spend it anyway I like. All you whiners can carry on squeezing inside the train while I am enjoying my new ride. My advice to you is to be more productive than to nag continuously without making any drastic change to your own mindset.”
Mr How ended his rather caustic posting by issuing a stern warning to 3in1kopitiam forumers that the forum “will be shut down one of these days.” He did not elaborate more on what he intend to do.
Since the 3in1kopitiam forum’s spat with YPAP, its host Delphi has received numerous complaints from unknown persons about its forumers posting personal information of others leading to some of them being banned, including Kojakbt.
Coincidentally, after The Temasek Review broke the story on our site, our host received a complaint from a “Desmond Quek” that we have posted “sensitive personal information” of others here.
Despite spending an inordinate amount of resources to spruce up its IT capabilities, the ruling party is still unable to reach out to the online community as the next general election approaches.
Its P65 blog, party websites as well as the official REACH feedback forum all suffer from a low readership as compared to independent sites like The Temasek Review whose readership has scored in recent weeks.
In the meantime, YPAP members like Eric How and the much “celebrated” Sear Hock Rong have continued to show the rest of us why the PAP must not be given a “blank check” to govern Singapore again without being held accountable to its words and actions.

It is called the cause and effect> Govt the one who started it, so he should blame the govt. PAP so fond of using words to slap the people who feed them. Ungrateful bunch of despots.

What a bastard YPAP member. This entire PAP is rotten like shit.
These are the true colours of PAP.
this how has no sense of reasoning , I wonder how be become YPAP member. Or is no sense of reasoning one of the criterias to become member of YPAP?
PAP and YPAP all look down on Singaporeans. Hate them to the core.
eric how, then what about govt slamming Singaporeans? What say you?
the ruling party deserves the sort of treatment from the 3-in-1 koptiam
How can a sicko called ERIC HOW say such things of forefathers, why must he resort to attacking forefathers?
Having this sort of low class category of member, PAP really has no hope
Such is a behaviour of an elite. With these elites leading Singapore, Singapore will be doomed one day

I doubt they will. Compare sgf to 3-in-1 kopitiam, the people are mild.
What I like about the 3-in-1 kopitiam is that the people are real good to bring up thought provoking points despite the fact that they love using vulgarity in their expression.

Too meek.
If the job market only has 100,000 jobs available, with a labour force of 130,000; does not mean that by not raising their issues online and going out to look for a job, those 30,000 will get a job.
It's based more on the overall system rather than individual behaviour.
