These people are lazy, that's why they are homeless. If they study hard when at school, don't play guitar at void deck and marry so young, sure they could have better lives. But of course, these minority people cannot be helped. Foever lazy people. No need to pity them. this online citizen also kaypo and make a big deal about them.

And then hor, some very rich one, their sons and daughers are top CEO or business people, but their stubborn old men just cannot live with them, so end up sleepy outside lor...so we also got rich homeless peoples, dun laugh at them ya.

i thot i saw some already, dun worry, prc are used to sleep on the street, the problem is our peoples, the true singaporeans, cannot take hardship and hardknocks in life.
I disagreed with "cannnot take hardship and hardknocks in life"
Depends on which groups of workers you are referring to.
Cannot simply say spoeans are like that.
Cannot see 1 bad egg, all are bad eggs.
i see it that way, few bads will lead one to join them..that is life.
you work hard, other seat around, and then later PRC or FTs come in to work and get promoted at a lower cost, all others laugh at you, in the end, you joined them, heckcare so much and life goes on

ALL Singapore is interested in is to SHOW THE WORLD AT LARGE what a beautiful place it is AT THE EXPENSE of the poor and homeless.

The reply from HDB:
I refer to your email dated 16 Jan 10.
2 As mentioned in our earlier reply, there is already a block of flats, i.e Blk 28 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, which has been set aside for the Interim Rental Housing. These flats, which would eventually be demolished, are offered to rental applicants who need interim accommodation while waiting for the allocation of a 1- or 2-room flat under the Public Rental Scheme.
3 We thank you for your feedback.
Yours sincerely,

So what next, Mr Joker ?
=======================================================
Does it mean Blk 28 Lor 6 Toa Payoh (only 1 block) 100% would be enough for all of the applicants in the long queue wating for HDB rental flats?
If it is then this block should be a huge block! The largest block in this world! Am I right? Has it been recorded as the world record? Then Singapore has one more record of the first at this world!
And when will reply for:
Those currently waiting for a rental flat have to move from the place they are staying now when they get their new rental flat from HDB?
Will HDB ask foreign workers rent similar flats from the open market?
