$0 - $6,000 bo tax
$6,001 - $35,000pa is taxed at 12.4% max
$35,001-$80,000pa is taxed at 22.3% max
$80,000-$180,000pa is taxed at 31% max
every dollar above $180,000pa 45% max.

50% tax???those are only meant for people who are not pr and citizens.
pr n citizens are taxed according to australian tax office rates which decreases or increases every year.its better than spore tax rates!

i already have dual citizenship, cannot go on and get a third citizenship, i think every country got it good and bad, if we are to compare, it will never end, anyway, money aside, no other place is better than home, unless we are like bangadesh, or some poor countries, then no choice, have to look for better pasture, as the 2nd weathiest country in Asia after Japan, i think singapore is not far from aussie. In fact, aussie is well know for their laziness, recently they also got alot of problem with racial, especially with indian immigrant.

other immigrants dun have much problems like these type of people cuz they keep distance far apart.but if u are strong like the russian spetsnaz commandos who immigrated to gold coast.....he was even reported to have thrown his aussie tennants out from his place he rented out.
if u are not strong anywhere ..u would be sucked dry,runned over by all kinds of gov and people and eventually killed off by them.

Sure, peoples are coming back ya, it is good to take singapore as a second home, so peaceful and clean to live in. If you dun talk about the govt, it is really a very wonderful place to live in...so nice parks, so nice road, so nice shopping place, so nice outing place and so nice foods....YEAH!!!
If Singaporeans are coming back, wonder if they will stop getting Foreign talents in??

True, minus out all those BILLS, spore is much much more better than many others countries. -
because those bills make singapore nicer and peaceful...look at the road tax and ERP, you think they will build road like Batam?? or JB type?? Look at the property tax, you think wouldn't paint those govt flats every few years ar?? Look at the service charge and Gst, you think those shopping and leisure places not nice ar??
Anyway, Singapore service is still not up to standard...10% service charge is way too much

For a person who earns a few grand, all the above will hv no prblem and the person will definately love to stay in spore.For a person who earns less than a grand, all the above will make the person more worst.

the problem is that the way govt create policy and increase cost is base on an average singaporean earning power, and that is far above a grand. The disparity btw the rich and poor is not taken in account.
In fact a person earning less than a grand got alots of priviledges and benefits from govt and social funds, and those earning above 15 grands, is not so much a problem at the moment. It is those btw these two extremes that is suffering...

Yes, less than 1 grand, they got lots of benefits and priviledges etc...dont you know that those things comes with alot of waiting and waiting and waiting? And they will screen you and your family as if you are a crinimals b4 they let you have the priviledges or whatever. A very stressful and headache.
