Singapore is a first world nation with a very good economy and low crime rates. However, due to the rising competition among people in Singapore, more and more people are getting poorer not because of their laziness but because of fiercer competition.
Thus, I should say if more and more locals have to become poorer due to competition and the government has to rule the country this way as a free market economy, the ruling party should step down and give way to the opposition party to rule!

We must learn to take competition as an opportunity, most people like to think straight, if you are selling chicken rice and another chicken was set opposite you, are you going to laze and die?? No, you embrace the opportunity to cook better chicken rice, and that is how and why Singapore Chicken rice is one the best, too many competition, so we should learn from the Chicken rice story ya. -

What can opposition party do if they are in power?Spore opposition party still cannot fight head on with PAP. CSJ and his gang? Better not. Look like a gangsters to me. The lady teacher? Can she lead?

i wouldnt call it compettition.what spore did was flood its own labour market with cheap imports.its called dumping of labour into spore.
all countries look at goods import from tv to washing machine made cheaply and sold into countries as dumping.
angel70.............u know what happens to spore after all countries dump their labour cheap or not cheap into spore or not??
spore will simply die off..............slkowly.u simply run off back to taiwan n live in a bamboo forest chewing bamboo shoots n drinkin well water.but wat bout sporeans??they end up in spore with granite n poor quality newwater.

The biggest problem facing Singaporeans now is the hopeless PAP political party.
They must be removed from power. Otherwise Singaporeans will have no future.
PAP and foreigners will join forces against us. We must unite against them.
