I want PAP to be voted out of power in next elections. winning percentage drop by a few points means nothing to PAP. They don't care about such things. They only care about power and money.
I am pretty rational.
By voting against PAP, we tend to get more benefits, even if PAP wins.
Even if voting results may be skewed, real data cannot lie, and they will feel the fury.

1) er.. it will collapse, I didn't say PAP wouldn't. I only say that even when you vote PAP out, the PAP presence will still be there, and stronger than ever, and perhaps more...insidious.2) try to adapt lah.. fellow singaporeans, we only complain complain but hardly adapt (sarcasm). I do not expect people to adapt to changes as soon as PAP is voted out. If given enough opportunities (i.e. hardships after the elections), I had this impression PAP will get in later by propaganda, by hook or by crook.
Singaporeans must learn how to be rational and be realistic
Thank goodness, majority of the students these days are not stupid. I believe they have eyes to see, ears to hear, encounters to know how "good" the ruling party is.

They must learn to give up their doubts and fears and vote out PAP. The mentality must change.
another thing, learn how to complain + suggest solutions. no pt just complain

I'm sad to say that most people I know of, didn't understand the logic of:
Vote against PAP, get more benefits (from PAP), even if PAP wins eventually.
Most of the students busy with forum,Msn
facebook, PsP, clubbing, chaste after korean idol,
eating at exp places
Where got time to bother about who
rule over Sg..

They are not stupid. They see the entire country full of foreigners. They feel uneasy. They know something is not right. They won't support PAP, so PAP is starting a campaign to "educate" them on what sort of party to support.
It is a futile effort by PAP.

Well, if the PAP loses the election, I believe they will not allow any benefits to be given to voters.

Those people are not politicised people. You must explain to them the logic and politicise them.

I met this Malay lady and she told me that she is sad that her teenage kids told her that they cannot stand Singapore and want to migrate. The kids are not happy with the way the govt is running the country.
For those overseas Singaporean students, majority of them just wanna find jobs and settle there and not return.
Sigh! Thanks to PAP.

Nobody pays my salary for political education... sadly.
... to think that I used to spent 5hrs to explain the concept of Money using Karl Marx's ideas in macdonalds.... and never get french fries in return...

Oppositions? Which oppositions are you referring to?

So sad to have a rubbish government such as PAP. Their control of Singapore must end.

Just use simple logic enough already. Simple words, short messages is the key to effective propaganda.

It will end but not so soon. Probably not our generation.

Don't like to psycho people, cos I don't want them to take in oversimplified ideas.
I think simple words and short massages only make low IQ people become even lower in IQ.

It must all end for PAP in next elections.

PAP turned it into land of foreigners. Everything foreign, nothing local. That is why no more feeling that you are in your own country.
That is why it must all end for PAP in next elections.
'And if the majority chooses slower development and a lower quality of life, and is willing to accept more tensions within our society in return for changes in the political system, then so be it,' he said
Never cease to amaze me that our politician have become so low.......only " words of threats" and i don't even know if he understood what he is saying.... ?
Singapore has no political cultured and can't just introduce a cultured that required years to cultivate...
Again once you cultivate a political discussion cultured you must prepared to stand for changes....because that is what politics does...."CHANGED"
Politics is never static. That is why election is only for 4 years....
EDUCATE STUDENTS????most students only think of sex and internet......brainwashing wouldnt werk either unless they make them sit ina room fer hours everyday staring at a rotating swirl and hypnnotise everyone into zombies.
so what on earth is everyone doin wiv the students???young and virgin...look like nice to bully:)
I think it's a good move to educate student and people about politics and its evolution. However, it is just as important to give people the opportunities to practice it.
Last term, my husband was teaching political science at school and he had like 400 students in his class. He got the students to form and organize different sorts of political parties, promote their ideologies and bring up issues concerning them, and then got other students to vote for their parties. However, this is what happens in practice in the country where they live in, where political parties get voted into power.
I think the proposal is great if it is to educate and engage...to create a more dynamic and active society.
