trying to brainwash students at a tender age

Mind still in formative phase, that is the best period to manipulate and mold their young minds into slaves of the PAP. Turn them into obedient robots who will only obey and won't resist PAP govt.
And who says people are apathetic.............
If they going to do a commie stuff by brainwashing young ppl into voting for them, they may as well turn Singapore into a Lee kingdom!
wah now got clone invasion is it. ztreiyer lol.
not same person!
So??? Another farked up clone with a farked up agenda.
All out in perverting the people of Singapore.

hard to say
sometimes for all you may know it'll end up train the new gen of Singaporeans how to take responsibility for this island.
Everything now no one cares cos it's been taken for it being provided for

well in time to come ppl will realise how backward Singapore is actually is. We're behind ppl in some way alrdy.
But there's no check and balance
EVERYTHING IS TOO LATE TO REVERSE!!!!

it's never too late for anything
it's only when ppl are willing to take responsibility for tis country we call home and make a change when it's needed

That is how I perceive it, coz they will never do things that do not benefit themselves.
Ever heard of path dependence?
2 things that contributed to path dependence.
1) Early dominance of the ruling group.
2) Early decisions concerning the design of singapore will influence future decisions regarding singapore.
Considering PAP had ruled us for too long, it has become the defacto standard. establishment of PAP as a dominant group, also allows it to be followed by other PAP sponsored organizations during the period when they were competing against other groups.
All organizations combined are too entrenched into the self-reinforcing system, through communications and policies.
Even when people are willing to take responsibility, the non-human participants (such as institutions like ISD), or even actors (i.e. china) outside singapore may still constrain necessary actions.
My take is very pessimistic.

has it ever been in your mind wat to do if say the party tat rules for decades suddenly falls? Has it been in your mind how to think of ways to pick up e pieces esp many of the companies here are controlled by them?
We dun need to care abt external factors, simply because at e end of the day, citizens matters before anything else

This is reflected in the path dependence.. ooo
1) It is NOT POSSIBLE, at least right now to pick up the pieces when they collapse.
2) We do need to care about external factors, we are actually a piece in international politics, other governments have a STAKE in sg's fate.
The time is ripe for PAP to go in next elections. It is the only way out for Singapore.
Day by day life is getting more and more rubbish as long as PAP is in power. They must go.

You are too pessimistic. As long as PAP is out, anything is possible. They have to go.
The PAP has to go in next elections. Everyone must understand this. It is for the sake of Singapore that they must go.

Because it has never come into your mind that it'll occur
For myself it has always been in my mind. That's why in the first place Singapore ought to be like HK or ROC, business is business, govt is govt. Projects like MRT should be done in a BOT manner.
Well, although external factor matters in some degree, wat really matters is of how we adapt to it and handle it. We can't expect ppl to change for us for we survived because we adapt to the outside world back then

I raise my hands to agree with you.
Life is not getting any better under their rule. The only winners who are enjoying life in this tiny little dot are the despots.

All patriotic Singaporeans must vote out PAP in next general elections. Life cannot go on like this. PAP must go.

1) er.. it will collapse, I didn't say PAP wouldn't. I only say that even when you vote PAP out, the PAP presence will still be there, and stronger than ever, and perhaps more...insidious.
2) try to adapt lah.. fellow singaporeans, we only complain complain but hardly adapt (sarcasm). I do not expect people to adapt to changes as soon as PAP is voted out. If given enough opportunities (i.e. hardships after the elections), I had this impression PAP will get in later by propaganda, by hook or by crook.

Only if we are given the chance to vote.
I want to see they continue to have declining winning percentage in the next election.
HeartHunter, which party are you going to vote for in next elections?
