I live in a 400m2 ft penthouse in China paying HDB 3 room price. It has 4 roof top gardens and swimming pool. The club house include facilities better than any 5* condo in Singapore. Security guards are located in every building with clinic + doc+ nurse. It has seaview, mountain view+ city view from all 4 corners of the roof top. Top it all, a maid cost only 50 SGD for half day work to keep your house clean 30 days a week with no rest day.
It cost only 2 SGD for vegetable that keep you fill for the week. If you are meat eater, a chicken cost only 1 SGD. It has all 4 seson weather that you can bbq, golf or ski or fish and do whatever you want.
The only stress is to work with people who may behave like the 60s Singaporean. It may not be bad because they cansimple and down to earth if you keep a right attitude.

why u need to stay in China, can't u afford a property in Singapore?? and also enjoy all the facilities, yes, it may cost you higher, but you can earn more here.

depend, some like shopping views, got lots of hunks and beau to look at...enjoying my street view with a glass of bloody mary, Uncles soliciting with gals very fun to watch. -

The SLA carved that part of the land from the condo total land area, and just give $1.
So far, have not seen a case where the govt executes the act to possess someone's house for $1, and causing them to sleep on the streets.
So far, they have acquired properties due to the need of that piece of land at 'market' rates, which of course, is not exactly the market rate that you think they will pay (usually it's much lower than what you would sell for).
That means the $1 is only for the condos land. The owner still stay in the condo
