20-year-old NSman dies after being found unconscious

SINGAPORE: A 20-year-old full-time National Serviceman died at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) on Saturday afternoon.
Lance Corporal Mar Teng Fong, an engineering systems specialist, was found unconscious on the navy's RSS Persistence on Wednesday.
A fellow serviceman found him lying between a hydraulic sliding door and its door frame, after he failed to return from a routine check.
The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) said Lance Corporal Mar was then taken to SGH in a helicopter where he was put in intensive care.
MINDEF added that he was given immediate medical attention on board the ship, which was out at sea for training.
A Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) medical doctor and a medic continued to resuscitate him on board the helicopter.
MINDEF and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family, and are investigating the incident.

Singapore Government Ministers are the highest paid in the world.
That's a given fact which nobody can deny.
While some Singaporeans are comfortable with it, the majority of us are not.
When Government Ministers pay themelves so obscenely with taxpayers money, citizens have the right to question / review their job performance :
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong - S$ 3.8 mil (approx USD 2.7 mil)
Can you honestly say to yourself that your life has been better, or that Singapore is a better place to live in today, since LHL took over as Prime Minister.... and specifically since April 2007 when he increased his own salary and that of his Ministers by 60 p/c ??
DPM + Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng - S$ 2.9 mil (approx USD 2.08 mil)
Here's a Minister who cannot keep a limping terrorist in jail. Cannot stop a limping terrorist from escaping to Malaysia and take NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever for the fiasco.
Lest we forget, this is the same Minister who opened the floodgates to FWs / FTs / PRs (even in a recession) to make our foreign population mix of 37 p/c the HIGHEST in the world.
National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan - S$ 2.7 mil (approx USD 1.94 mil)
"affrodable" and "subsidised" HDB apartments ??
HDB lost S$ 2 billion in 2008 ??
Do you think he is telling the truth or lying through his teeth ??

Useless in his appointed role - fighting for worker's rights.

Aiyo, corruption needs evidence want meh??? their own countries also cannot give evidences, how can i give evidence, i can only say that billions are pour in by business peoples and organisation to support presidential election campaign, and as for country like Korea, Taiwan, Jpan and lower like Malaysia, Mynama, indonesia etc etc etc...you use to hear the corruption only when they step down as PM or get exposed with billions of corruption up the left and right pockets, notice those malaysia and indonesia politicians love to wear those 4 pockets safari shirt, you can imagine how much is in each pocket...hehehe -

The Singapore Government is the cleanest in the world.
Singapore Ministers are paid a high salary plus legalised 'over-the-table' money, so there is no need for 'under-the-table' activites in Singapore.
