I first heard this when I was a kid. My parents told me next time must always vote for PAP because they say that your vote is secret is rubbish and after the election the PAP will check who vote for the opposition party and than take revenge on them.

The motherfucking PAP whether they will take revenge against me or whether they will not take revenge against me, when the ballot comes, I will still put a cross for the opposition.

I do not believe in the revenge on commoners. But we will never know as we do not have access to this kind of info.

People need to have Integrity.
People need to have Righteous spirit.
Hopefully, people are well brought up by their parents with the right values and value system. Hopefully, people have learnt to be righteous from their religions.
People who do not have Moral Values and Strong Value system and righteous spirit are not much superior than a non-human.
