go read some history about China, especially the part between 1947 to 1978, so that you can understand what the mainland China was like. Read 龙应å°'s "大江大海1949" you will understand what happen to the "ä¸åŽæ°‘æ—”, and how much you know about the cultural revolution?
Study you english well and help the people in China to understand the correct meaning of english in chinese, don't let the stupid newspaper fools you.
and remember this, when Deng Xiao Peng visited Singapore in 1978, he returned to open up China to the world, and he specifically wanted China to emulate Singapore during his visit to the south in 1992.
Singapore don't owe china anything.
Singapore don't owe china anything.
I like this
I think the viewed from the writer is not the last....and will continue to reflect in their thinking in both policies and expectation. This article also reflect the culture ignorance of most PRC towards Singapore particularly in our diversity in ethnicity and politics of S.E.A. All the more that Singapore has to maintain our national Pledge as an identity.
I think SG government continue to bend its back will need to reflect upon what message it is sending out as it interact with PRC....or as PRC extend its influence into the region.
Perharps the 10 million dollar intergration funds should put in used as a foreign policies education about our respect for diversity. And that identitcal in ethnicity does not implied conformance of decision and behavior but rather covergence of interest.
On a side note: Is already bad that Singaporean are trying to suvive the difficult high cost of living under the current govt now "Singapore" are being perceived that we owe China?
