LOL. Would you die to defend you country? Would you betray your descendants in order to soothe your racist ego? >:) LOL! LOL! LOL!
What about the rest of the world? will they accept? clearly just for PRC Chinese. Make it sound like they just don't want Singaporeans.
Besides, the pay sucks.
dis job can gib dem lah.
juz dun b near me can le.
this seems ridiculous though
Sigh.... the sad state of things these days....
It's obvious that it's not a case of the job requiring a good proficiency in Mandarin.... if anything, the job explicitly stated that a good command of English is a requirement.

These are only isolated incidents that happens from time to time, and no need to be up at arms about it. People do make mistakes from time to time.
1.A simple letter to tell them, as a citizen, that it is offensive would be enough usually.
2. Should they disregard, then refer the ad to Ministry of Manpower and to your MP. It would be better if legislation be made to curtail such offensive practices.
3. Find out about the company itself, and get a whistleblower if possible within should you know that the company is flouting labour ratio qoutas, and get the bosses fined. MOM is limited in bureacratic size, with thousands of companies to investigate on errant and irresponsible bosses, and i am sure they would appreciate any help, supplied with irrefutable evidences of wrong doings.
There is absolutely no reason why a fellow citizen cannot fill that job unless citizens are not satisfied with the environment or job scope
We can do the right thing responsibly as citizens, and need not do the crazy ones.
Don't know the rationale behind asking for PRCs for the job. Could the boss of the company be a PRC or the wife is a PRC?
Whatever, it is rather discriminating to the locals. MOM should step in to deal with this. But I doubt MOM will as we are know the ruling party is all for the PRCs. hahahah
ya, can report one.
sumore, they agy.
shld knw betta.

Isolated incidents?
Isolated incidents?
How long more are you going to speak up for the PAP?
I'm assuming you are a normal citizen just like me and that you are just severely misguided by the years of propaganda set up by them, from the media to the mandatory social studies.
But, are you just a normal citizen?
Wake up before things go out of hand. I do no wish to wake up one morning to have China claiming that Singapore belongs to them.
like that also can ar??? wah.....
It is time to vote out PAP.
Their policies are destroying Singapore society.
These crazy 5 years of Lee Hsien Loong rule. All sorts of rubbish start to appear.
Time's up for you Lee Hsien Loong.
Next player please.

You must learn to stand up instead of beg on your knees under PAP.
PAP won't respect you if you keep on crawl in front of them.

Why do you persist in giving bad advice?
Do I need to stand up or even, a republican, beg when i have an MP to speak up on my behalf, whom I have the fullest trust in his capability to do what is right, not just for my interest but for the interest of the majority whom had elected him?
No. This is my country and home. I am not involve in politics nor seek political office. There are more capable people than me to represent my constituency.
I am educated and matured enough to know that change takes time and patience, people are not perfect and mistakes do happen. I am not the one complaining here, but you and your kind are.
Thus, there is no need for me to stand up. Only people like you and your kind who are not satisfied, needs to stand up, and be democratically voted into office if what you complain about is right, in peace and constitutionally, and not by bullshit 'civil disobedience' or nonsensical oxymoronic ' non-violent' demostrations.
Failure which, you are in reality, selfishly sitting here instigating, inciting, and hoping someone else will do the job for you, on your behalf, and take the rap for it if something goes wrong.
xtreyier, STAND UP.
Don't be on your knees in front of PAP.
The Singaporeans in these dire times MUST STAND UP!
For the sake of future of Singapore - STAND UP FOR SINGAPORE!
Screw Mr Gan for this!

Sit down and shut up then.
I don't understand why you keep whining that others are whining.
And I don't think you know enough of the market to know that in such aspects of the job market, Singaporeans are being discriminated against.
I am too lazy to explain to you, coz when I tell you my observations on the ground, you will dismiss it as "honest" and "one-off" mistakes.
Others whining? I feel you are indulging in self-delusion.
