Change in living conditions in communist states coverting to democracy can only happen slowly.
What you expect the PAP to do if they have more than 50% seats in parliament?
You expect LHL to tell the opposition, "OK Low Thia Kiang will be Deputy PM, Sylvia Lim will be Minister of Law, Kenneth Jeyaratnam will be Finance Minister", so that he can assist in the transition to opposition rule?
