CPF can be an opt out choice and no blame be attached to the government. As for PRs serving NS, does anyone want to arm foreigners with no loyalty to the nation? Can a board be formed for foreigners becoming citizens to ensure they contribute to the nation at large and not a divulsive minority?

If certain forumers (x*****r) were, as they claimed, so concerned about fellow Singaporeans, especially those needy ones, why not spend the extra time to work harder, earn more, and donate all to charity?

I concur, great suggestion. -
I think he has a hard time segregating the country from the government.
If you notice, most of his arguments and counter arguments are very similar in tone and content to typical government propaganda.
He links complaining about government policies as spreading "malicious propaganda against Singapore" as his title suggests.
He is truly a product of the system.

My students are saying how irritated they are everytime there's NE programmes because they can feel that it's plain propaganda, and they dislike it.

These days, propaganda can also be found in the Chinese drama. Was watching some Chinese drama the other time and they emphasized "Singapore is a safe country, no crimes, .......".
If you control all the media, it's easy to control the minds of people.

Same thing for those shows concerning kids and babies - actors will, in certain scenes say the government giving baby bonus is a god send for couples like them, how the government is doing everything to promote family life, work life balance etc.
You will know it is clearly propaganda because the lines spoken are almost exactly like the advertisements.
