Sometime ago a student ask a Minister about their job security with the influx of FTs, Minister rebuked our population are greying and we wont have enough young pple to support the old generation in future who are going to support us economically in future.
From my observation these PRC ,Indian are invading my block and these pple also bought their parents wouldn't this compound the greying population we already have , image a typical PRC couple their one child policy family will typically bring in four old pple into our country
What you see:
- Less Job
- Less Pay
- Less seats in Bus and MRT
- More bicycles
- More social issues between local and them
What the Elite see:
- More communters for bus, MRT and taxis -> $$$
- More pple to buy property -> $$$
- More pple to buy and subscribe mobile, cable and internet -> $$$$
- More pple to fill up shopping center -> $$$$
- More pple to pay GST -> $$$$$$
- More bonus for them at the end of the year !!!!!
The Viets also wat. FUCKING THIEVES all around Singapore!

Good observation. These PRs seem to be uprooting their whole damn fucking villagers and damn fucking relatives here. Ultimately, more older foreigners adding to our already grey and aging population. Back to square one on rejuvenating our aging population!
Dun worry about them bringing their parents here.
The cost of living here is damn expensive for them to live.
They can live in BIG house with less amount than to live in pigeon hole with more amount.
They will only be here to travel and go back.
They will want their children to go back too like Miss Zhang Yuan Yuan.
Not really.
Those from growing economies may eventually want to go back. But those from stagnant economies, like Philippines, Burma, Vietnam may not think of leaving here.
Take India, for example, some may prefer here over India's booming economy. I gathered from some of my Indian classmates that Indian is a very regionalised country with each state setting its own language, universities, guideline, standard etc.
So ppl from non hindi speaking states may find difficulty finding job in the booming capital of Bombay. An Indian Tamil speaking university graduate from Tamil Nadu would find it more attractive to settle here simply because Tamil, not Hindi, is one of our official langauge.
some prcs prostitute themselves to earn money here. whos talking about leaving?
During the recent condo , are mostly FTs from china , vietnem, for HDB ones recently newly minted FT turned citizen if you have watched the news, our public and private are all being snatched up by FTs, in future Singaporean can only live in JB or Batam
It was featured in the mediacorp's channel 8 programme that there are many PRC gals loitering at the bus stop in front of People's Park Complex, eying (eyeing) for potential victims. A woman complained that her husband is involved with a china woman and family is affected.
PRC girls working as cashiers at Giant, apply what they are taught. Hardware, fresh produce, cold food, packaged food, and insectcides are put into separate bags, with a smile even at 1145pm.
Singaporean girls, unsmiling, put all into one bag. On the second time, I went up to the duty manager, and show her the Sg girl packing, bread, lettuce, cheese, packet Cambell soup, and a bottle of cold Calamansi, all inside one bag.
Singaporeans ought to buck up, or employers (not the government) will prefer PRCs and Filipinas.
Really lame! hahahah!

SGreans pack all groceries into 1 bag because they more environment conscious? Anyway, has SG started encouraging shoppers to use cloth bags for groceries? In AU this trend has been around for 2 years AFAIK.

But you would think it would be basic courtesy to ask whether your customer want that first?

yes ur right sg needs to buck up in terms of service line but is that a social problem?
next time we might be force
to speak Like PRC too
Speak in a Loud tone
problem with SG is some top guy already set the policy direction and the guy below even know the policy is wrong also do not dare to voice out but work smart by continue to follow afraid of losing their multi million pay check. Till this mistake grew out of proportion and pple resentment start to rise then maybe there is a policy change

I was thinking along that line too, but I don't think so. It more like taking short cuts.

Is that not contributive to the influx of foreigners in Singapore? When you are running an enterprise, you endeavour to succeed first, then be patroitic, if at all.
Any community would have social problems, when injected with a significant number of aliens.

in modern days especially in singapore, one cannot find patriotic citizens anymore. Most foreigners just use singapore as a stepping stones or hub to reach their ultimate goals. This has become easily achievable due to our loose immigration policy, at the expense of us real singaporeans.
No wonder modern singaporeans face smelly smelly.
