Who are citisens these days? comparing 3.5million to the target of 6.5million . There wil be a situation where once you step out of spore, say in the US or Londaon etc, someone who can't speak proper english will tell you that he is also a sporean !!! They are the smart ones!!!

The citizens still got dividends lah.
1 cent dividend occassionally every 4-5 years to "reward" the citizens for their support and hard work.
Over 20 years, accumulate 5 cents worth of dividends.

Give out small dividends to make the employees happy once in a while.

Can't always use the rod, once in a while have to give out candies.
Then when company does well, they will atttribute it to their good management skills, give themselves big raises and bonuses.
When company does not do well, they will say it's because of global economic climate.

Expected,i believe the figure is even lower than 63% as we are talking now.The PAP government mismanagement of Singapore is the main cause of the low figure.
And they naively thought bringing in foreign migrates will solve the problem.Its like giving a rotten apple with a new package,it wont be a rotton apple anymore?
