Yeah, and you won't get a single cent for my work because your don't own me. But it is true....it is indeed a bit too much to chastise unemployed sgporeans for being choosy in the job market.....u cannot expect ppl who use to take home 8k a month to suddenly lower their standards to 1k or 2k.....how are they going to maintain their living standards........property prices is fast rising coupled with rising inflation.....soon singapore will be a country like Hong kong....where you are divided into mainly rich and poor with the middle class family slowly disappearing....><"

Times are really bad? i grad with a deg in accountancy and currently have a cpa, i was working as an audit senior and was retrench 3 months ago. The funny thing is i take up job as a night shift odd job technician (o levels requirement) while going for job interviews in morning. I been pressurized to take offers like 1500 and 7 days annual leave with the employers saying that they are following the government rates, what is more agonizing is once one of the "big 4" offer to take me in as their audit semi-seniors with a decent offer but they immediately reconsider when they heard i have to go RT for 2 months.
