The brilliant part is that earlier in 2009, the PAP Government has declared its help to all the Singapore employers with an emergency funding of S$4.5 Billion - taken from the Reserves with the approval of the Elected President - to help employers to continue employing Singaporeans during this difficult times.With Temasek Holdings and all its subsidiaries being the biggest employer in Singapore, it is obvious that the bulk of the S$4.5 Billion taken from the Reserves will benefit Temasek the most.
Yet, we are hearing that by end-2009, Singaporeans should expect another 100,000 to be retrenched.
Who is keeping watch ?
Perhaps Singaporeans should get the ‘Singapore Rebel’ (*1) to confront the MIW by raising his loud voice above all the cacophony and ask - "where is our money ?"
In Martyn See's movie - the ‘Singapore Rebel’ (*1) said that GCT replied to the question by pointing at the trouser pocket !!!
What will be the reply this time ?
Will the lady's finger point at the CD or LV handbag ?

she got experiences managing funds, trading or work in investment banks and houses meh, or hedge funds?
anyway she should learn from warren buffet as much as she could or Jim Rogers, who could teach her a thing or two on investments. she should pay heed to investing in commodities and avoid the US dollar.

Since you mentioned about other countries, why don't you also mention that politicians in these countries are not drawing the highest, world class salary as the men in white? Since the PAP are taking so much from the people, paying themselves out of the ordinary - highest pay in the world of politics, world class salary - as such much is demanded and expected of them from the people. Like MM said, there is no such thing as free lunch in the world. Understand????
