they dun need to encourage, just increase this and that, you work until 100 yo liao..those oxford surveyor also stupid one,..they never factor in the cost of living and the cost of sustaining living here..in other places if you retire..u can go back to your country side or kampong to live with grandchildrens, woods, river, trees, animals and kind of relax feeling, in Singapore, you sit on the void deck or the playground..see peoples walk by here and there..then no sooner, the place you sat will become your funneral function.
Retirement is not about relaxing in some exotic places, it is about seeing your childrens fully grown and working,..full of grandchildrens, ..able to enjoy family loving with your life time partner and finally, to ask onself, what hv you contribute to the society.

Poor??? not lah, those uncles who patronise Pros are not poor lor, it is because they are not poor but rich, that is where the problem begin.
In our women perspectives, sometimes it is better to marry a normal income man than a rich man, the problem with man, especially sg men, once they got cash in hand, they will start to look for holes to stash away.

They are rich and than dirty prostituties like you come and cheat all their money and than they become poor.
The problem is that this world has too many dirty prostituties like you who go and cheat all the rich men money
i am not a pros lah
but i like to counter your statement, the question is simple economy term, if there is no demand, there will be no supply. The richie sgmen demand for it, naturally there will be a stream of supply chain,..and as the supply getting lesser and lesser, sgmen will have to spent more due to diminishing of supply.

Got guts to be pros but got no guts to admit.
There is actually no demand for dirty prostituties like you. The simple economy term is that dirty prostitutes like you go and seduce old uncles and make them horny than cheat their money

What do you know about old age in Singapore? most of the time you are too busy in the whore house during the evening...
Did you ever saw old man gathering themselved under HDB or sitting at the BUS STOP talking Cock.....80% of the conversation evolved around Govt did this and take that....
This is the reality of retireing in Singapore.

Yeah asked yourself what have you contribute to the society????? other than STD...
Even if you want to see exotic places you don't have the financial resources to go because all your money is tied down in HDB.....So you can only watch porn from internet...that is your life after retirement.
You are not even there yet so why not reserved this topics to others...
Its not that we're not prepared for retirement. I somehow feel that we think we are so prepared for retirement that we spend most of what we save already, thinking it's all gonna be recouped later, which is more often than not.
I suppose the root is that we spend too much -- I blame it on material world. Eg. How many of us change handphones like changing underwear?

well. with reference to the older folks. post 40s, i dont think so.
Their concern is if they can put food on the table tomorrow or the day after, especially for those who have children to support, and also have their parents to support.
so, ill put my point this way. The root isnt the fact that we spend too much, its that the rate of inflow of income isnt proportional to the rate of outflow. Or putting it in simpler terms, not enough money to sustain a family.

Nothing is 100% sure in Singapore. There is no guarantee that you can have your funeral in a void deck..........don't forget there could be a malay wedding coming

"..the place you sat will become your funneral function."
For the immobile "hum" stuck in the muck - where it sits, it will die there, and the funeral will be conducted there - who else will bother with a "hum" ?
Without the burden of the "hum" in the shell, it will give the vacant shell the opportunity to move along.
