go to say this but do feel sorry for them cause i believe people who work for them are working for $$$.These the kind of people they are likely to attract and these people aren't talented either , not all but most of them aren't. They are in for the $$$. There was a program aired 1 or 2 days ago on CNA about how public servants who stay disconnected with the ground issues could undermine the reputation of the garment and also keep it unaware of problems. This could undermine the reputation of the garment and cause more problems.
I am afraid talented people , energetic and full of enthusiasm like former president Ong Teng Chiong were not given a chance and also probably could have migrated to other countries.

What to expect from these people? I don't blame them for just look at their bosses - aren't their bosses going for $$$? Their bosses set the example so I am no surprised that these are the people they attract so no need feel sorry for the government.

the word talent = not certificate degree or PHD
its experience accounted for. I dont see how fresh NUS NTU grads who go into civil service have the talent when they are not even proven.

There are, but rarely do we come across talents (NUS , NTU grads). How many can think out of the box?
