This forum here already shown the nos of anti government citizens is very low and most are not even worth to be opposition supporters or opposition candidates by the way they acted. Therefore with such low percentage of anti govt, I will rating the govt as successful, 8/10.

If you observe a typical Singaporean, be it rich or poor, he/she always look frustrated, even he/she smiled, it takes alot of forcing to do it because they are alway not contented with what they have, not contended with the govt, the prices, the work, the job, the business, the way of life, their partners, their frens, their relatives, their habits etc etc..all this lead to struggling in life. And when they cannot get to what they wanted, the usual blaming culture come in, it is alway because of the society and the govt. Fair?

Angel7030, Not wrong in terms of seeing things on the surface, people do complaint especially during tough times and the government does try to win votes from various avenues especially during voting times. In a way, some individuals (whose name I shall not mention) tend to treat politics as a BUSINESS and Ministers are being treated and measured like professional managers. If you ask me, this is wrong!!!!! There should be a sense of service towards ones country and if we need to give out high salary to exchange for patriotism, then something is really wrong here. This could be another topic for another day. Btw, r u in the PAP youth?

Angel3070, Seems you are the rebelious type, 10/10 from you and yet you wanna get rid of PAP... For others who might be guessing, I am NOT from PAP and NOT from any opposition party. I am a Singapore who has spent years outside Singapore and just wish to touch base with my fellow country men, in order to get a feel of our situation back home. Really stop complaining. If you do care, contribute your opinion to our government or at least give a rating, so they know if we, the tax payers n voters, are truly happy with them. Singapore's demographics is changing and political under-current is developing, may be CHANGE can come to Singapore one day...:)
