It does not take a genius to notice that there has been a lot of pro government letters to the ST forums page for the past few weeks - from the canadian guy to this juliet girl to today's letter in the Sunday Times praising the PM for his NDP rally speech.
You do the math and see where all these letters are leading to.

i think whether old or young.... there are many ungrateful and whiny and poor singaporeans who only like to blame govt for everything.
they like to fuel their beliefs by selecting evidence to support their views that govt is indeed lousy and stupid and evil
These people are usually very poor thing because they can only play the role of victims and they are powerless and they cannot appreciate the efforts made by the government team.
I am damn proud of singapore team, though i have few criticisms of various things.. i am so bloody fortunate to be born in singapore....
I was disturbed alot by these stupid netizens, young or old , in the past.... but i guess i just have to be more calm when dealing with such immature people.
I believe that most of singaporeans are like me and that these critics and stupid people are only a small bunch of people in percentage who made use of internet, and other media to inflate their sense of numbers.......
My message to all these detractors: Its time to wake ur stupid mind, otherwise, you are the one who are going to be suffering.

Nobody here says rich is being wrong. Somebody has twisted the words to find fault,perhaps. It is more of the attitude of such a person that really is uncalled for. Anything goes wrong the person shao wei will conveniently push blame on people for not happy with him cos he is rich without thinking what is wrong with him. Such person is childish, uncalled for, self centred, too much of self righteousness, no compassion.

QFT.Many young people (myself included) share (partially, at least) the same mentality as the young bloggers in question, but that does not mean that we do not regard people such as MM LKY in high esteem, or do not appreciate our country for what it is (or whatever the hell your stated points may be).
Please, don't talk as if the entire population of children, teenagers and young adults are what you describe. I'm sure we all dislike being accused of something we didn't do.
Unhappy with youngsters and their thoughts? Deal with it. Or migrate. I don't really care.
