These mundane stuff are also face by citizens of all country, only difference is whether they care about politics or not.

Such apathy not restricted to this country it is the proportion that make the difference.
I'm so old liao, why should I care so much if I don't like to see this country a better place.

if a politican in power dun control the media, which is a powerful mass communication tool, he will be history soon. That's is one of the most important politician jobs.Notice that even in war, radio and tv station are targets to be occupy/or destroy inorder to control the media or cut off communication.
I have no doubt at all, if opposition is to take over the govt, they will also control the media, maybe more tight than now.
