Hey,when Boris Yeltsen started to rule Russia,the country was at the edge of "Bankcruptcy" due to the mismanagement of the Russian Communist.Mr Yeltsen tackle the fundamental problem,which lies in the politics,n overthrow Communist government n lay down the foundation of Russian democracy which last till today.
Surely,u cant expect Yeltsen to bring in "Prosperity" overnight to Russia,which was mismanaged by Communist corruption n inefficiency for so many years.At least,Mr Yeltsen dare to tackle n face the problem,which he knows it lies in political area.
Unlike Communist China n Singapore,which a bunch of impotent,incapable,and cowards politicians,who dare not to admit the problem lies in the politics area n sweep everything under carpet.
Now,after Mr Yeltsen lay the foundation of democracy in Russia,thats why Russia now enjoy the prosperity compare to its hopeless Communist poverty n autocracy situation in the past.

Ron Paul and Ralph Nader seems like pretty good politicians to me.
I think Lee Teng Hui stress it many times,that he is a true Taiwanese.If u have so many doubts about him,why dont u go n question LKY whether he is a "Banana" who help Japanese during Japan Occupation period in Singapore?Or GCT identity of whether he is Malaysian or Singaporean,who during a period of time,he did live in Malaysia.
