I think it would be pretty difficult to get rid of immigrants and new citizens immediately. There has to be a reason for the influx. Frankly, there are really not enough babies to replenish ourselves.

i work with so many of them
got malaysian, japanese, french, indian, pilipino, all ok to me leh
we even become friends, then after work
some teach me how to play golf
some bring me go eat nice foods
some even bring me go club 88 and find china girls
just that now a day i old already, no energy to go out with them already
so i mostly stay at home and watch discover channel

agree with botadead. but in a more practical aspect, foreigners are more hardworking then our fellow singaporeans. in school, they always put in 110% in projects, regardless whether these projects will be counted into their grades or not. their atitude is incredible. i love working with them in school. during my sole work experience after my Alvl, foreigners once again give me good impression. while most of our singaporeans perm staff arrives at 9am for work with a breakfast in their hands, the foreigners perm staff already in their seat preparing to start work. thats the difference.
but of coz most of us, singaporeans, are not like what i have described. :D

Please understand my Uncle, that cursing is part of his therapy ordered by his doctor, only he had the licence to curse our leaders due to medical ground, it is like drug addiction, he needs it to release his stress and emotion. So, be kind ya
