Hmm... look like everything is being monitored.
thought that pm who loves pink said they going to relax rule or something like that.
Never mind about that, majority of Singaporeans love to live within the fence set by them.
讲一套一套。。。
this is old news
It's for security lah.
Like cctv for public transport.
When put up cameras,
Why put up cameras?
When no put up cameras.
Why no put up cameras?
Better to put up first, before people ask why no put up cameras.
One day, don't know who, will throw a bottle into a "peaceful" crowd.
And they will blame the police for it.
Everything must be seen in the context of elections coming.
Election is coming, those miw tightening security. As usual, kiasi kiasu, kc.
Thats why LKY can only run a small island.
If he is to manage a bigger country, can u imagine how many thousands of "useless" ministers he would employ and how many millions of cameras he would install to make sure that the "protest" is a peaceful one?

As usual, even the government fears the people.
Security, my foot!
When one rules by subtle means of fear - one is bound to be fearful of being found out. Facts are many lar, truth is always ONE.
What will they think of next?

Frankly, i heard him on tV saying that Singapore is small if given a big country he may not be able to manage. This is rare of old man to talk without his ego.
But we are lagging behind London.
Should we follow the usual trend of putting up cameras "after the event"?

Next step: adding microphones to the security cameras.
Hi when everything is in monitored, in control that's monarchy and not democratic. when things are monitor, where's the ''freedom'' i would respect an emperor but not an emperor in disguise switching names to shun mistakes and wrong doings. If there isn't any rightful ruling, meaning the TRUE DRAGON IS YET TO BE SEEN ..

You mean voice recorders.
By installing CCTV the police force can reduce man power issue. One time set up cost can use for many years, prevent and deter function, if require those video footage can be use as evidence. Win win!
But CCTV doesn't seems to work against loan sharks....

I think its more of expected to what they gonna do next.
When one can see without being there, they would then think of hearing it witout being there too.
Lol...
