Thats why LKY can only run a small island.
If he is to manage a bigger country, can u imagine how many thousands of "useless" ministers he would employ and how many millions of cameras he would install to make sure that the "protest" is a peaceful one?

Frankly, i heard him on tV saying that Singapore is small if given a big country he may not be able to manage. This is rare of old man to talk without his ego. -
But we are lagging behind London.

Hi when everything is in monitored, in control that's monarchy and not democratic. when things are monitor, where's the ''freedom'' i would respect an emperor but not an emperor in disguise switching names to shun mistakes and wrong doings. If there isn't any rightful ruling, meaning the TRUE DRAGON IS YET TO BE SEEN ..

By installing CCTV the police force can reduce man power issue. One time set up cost can use for many years, prevent and deter function, if require those video footage can be use as evidence. Win win!
But CCTV doesn't seems to work against loan sharks....
