  The points mentioned in the article have been repeated ad nauseum over the past few years.

   

  It seems these days majority of the jobs being created in singapore are relatively low end, low value added jobs.

   

  If you want more exciting job opportunities, overseas seems to offer better alternatives.

   

  Yeah, feeling unappreciated in low paying, stressful jobs is quite common in singapore too.

  Nowaday, everyones also got diplomas, you go upgrade to degree, if not you very hard to move up, alway work under a degree holder...go,..go study further...work and save money for school ya.

  that is because singapore govt only promote their state own enterprised. while totally neglect the locally owned SME. If they had promoted these small and medium size companies at least when these companies branch out jobs goes to SG.
