Aging population, low birth rate and the civil service

I wonder whether in the future, there will be a shortage of people in the civil service. For i know that foreigners will be quite unwilling to settle down here...its because foreigners under work visa, will earn more to send back than to settle down here . They will need to become PR or citizens to join civil service.. and some forms of white collar civil service jobs only take in citizens..
With the low birth rate problem will there be a a shortage to meet the quota?

So expensive, how to give birth. For me, if i marry. I will get for myself one child. Spare more cash for myself. One lifetime one time only.
Dun worry, u see lorry of china people being unload to constrution. The government will also follow suit. UNLOAD All CHINA MAN AND CHINA WOMAN into singapore.

though not in civil service, i dont believe it will happen. Foreigner are from countries which are corrupt, India , china ect... too risky to hire them in civil service. Even though they can become citizens or PR , most likely they will be hired in the army , civil defence

pu tong hua, or Mandarin has been one of the official languages of Singapore since independence, together with English, Malay and Tamil. The national language is malay.

TS, frankly it is none of my concern. Let the govt who pay themselves world class salary take care of the problem. Do what they want to please themselves. They contributed partially to the problem of low birth rate.

There is a difference between "the official language" and "an official language", I hope you understand and my post has not been in vain. The Singapore education system must be severely lacking. Haiz.....why are there so many morons in sgForums? Must be the brain drain problem, there is no hope for Singapore.

The last 2 decaded ( 80s an d90s) , there were not much problems, the problems we see now are because of the US. But we have responded to the problems created by the US in the wrong ways. its because we are getting effeicient servies, top class amenities ect. If ugo other countries too, u still have to pay for these things. We are all livng in a 5 star hotel and its maintenance can be high.
