That is not what PAP thinks.
PAP is Singapore, Singapore is PAP for them.

Truth is otherwise. Anyway, for Singapore to grow further, we don't need naysayers like you, CSJ or LKY around. Understand?

i feel that Potong Pasir & Hougang SMC are mini countries in Singapore or should i say state?
here hougang ave 2. this is a block facing the main road. i walk around the area only found about 8 flags..
how about other parts of singapore?
I think it's time the Govt rethink its policies and make them more nationalistic even in job search during this period of downturn.
Don't always give ways to foreigners, including PRs.
Don't welcome anymore new races to become future official races of Singapore.

but in the present no more or not much ppl put flag liao. only gov put nia... in addition, you see the liverpool vs singapore match.. whole stadium almost all support liverpool. you can hear the majesty echos of LIVER POOL~ LIVER POOL~ and the thunderous cheers when liverpool scores.
Sg become like this y ar... is it goverment's or people's fault?
Are you serious? Are you going to display your affiliation to a bunch of criminals who are less lovable than terrorists?
It is hardly rocket science why you're observing the trend you're seeing now...

We know LHL, HC and Goodyear are hopeless cases in preparing Singapore for future economical downfall. We need people who can plan and chart a course for Singaporeans to each find their own niche market and not meet up with a few million tons of governmental redtape.

Singapore is still vibrant and moving is because of its open policies in embracing FTs and Free trade. As such, we are also vulunerable to any economy gitches both domestically and internationally.
As far as top FT is concern, you need to employ 6 singaporeans inorder to get one, and that taper off till the lower workers side whereby you need to have 1 singaporean inorder to employ 3 foreign workers. This basic rule of thumb can change as we move along. Therefore, you can guarantee Singaporeans getting jobs, especially at the higher end. As for the lower end, in fact, heavy industrial is finding it difficult to get locals to join in, this may due to old age population and the younger ones dislike of dirty and hardwork. In the end this lower end bosses have to seek MOM for more foreigner workers with an exception of no singaporeans. This typically happen in our IR construction, it lack of locals and without locals, boss cannot get foreigners to help out.

Is it humanly possible for you to be a patriot in a dictatorship and claim to love your country but not the government?
Imagine someone telling you he loves North Korea but not Kim Jong-Il and gang running the regime. Are state and party even remotely separable in dictatorships?

Like it or not, I believe oppositions and their supporters loves their country and not the govt. These group of peoples can even spend off their lifes for the sake of this country, this state, this City we call Singapore.
And believe me, at time, i really take my hat off for some of them, if only i am wearing one. But for most of them, they done it the wrong way, and in the end, misinterpreted the true meaning of love of a Country

That explains much about your intelligence - just as you pointedly harped on the "transparency" that supposedly exists in Temasek.
So what do you love about this regime? A corrupt Executive, compliant Judiciary or having a theatre for a Legislature?
