It used to be the situation where the opposition capitalised on the poorly amenitised ward to break the stronghold of PAP.

I am still mulling about the strategy PAP and the opposition will play out this time.

So long as PAP can't or unable to break up the Teochew enclave of Hougang, Worker Party will still be strong in Hougang. Worker party has been doing a fairly good job there.
I mean what they going to do? Chinese dialectic quota like racial quota? This will madness. But this staying power will also depends on the cooperation of the opposition parties.SDP conquer where

SDP in woodland is a strong posibility if they can find some articulate and charismatic minority grassroot leaders who can connect with the huge population of minority there. But again, PAP can also play out this strategy to its advantage.
Another great unknown factor will be the hugh influx of PR turned Singaporeans. How will they vote? -

Election date all over the world are usually released way before the election whereas in Singapore it is kind of hush hush till the last couple or few months before election then the despots released date.
