Who is provoking the Pahang Government or is it the Federal Government ?
Is the Barisan Nasional not the de facto Pahang Government and also the Federal Government as well ?
For your information, that woman is NOT a Singaporean - she is a Malaysian married to a Singaporean, and is staying in Singapore as a Permanent Resident.
Did she offend the police, or did she flout the Shariah Law by drinking beer - which is an alcoholic beverage ?
Did you not claim that the Shariah Law protect women ?
Why was the husband released but the Shariah Law will require the women to be whipped 6 times ?
Even the Civil Law does not allow a woman to be subjected to whipping.

NO, NO, Why should Sg govt interfere. We should respect other country's laws just as we in Sg also has stupid laws like banning sale of chewing gum, fines for petty offences eg. not flushing the toilets, etc. The woman and her husband forgot the basic saying, "When in Rome, behave like Romans do"

again u must be dreaming, Uncle, wake up lah.Pahang is trying prove themselves that they are rules and order abiding state, in way it connect to the current prince and model issue, more so if a woman married to singaporean, i can bet you that when further investigation, the authority of Pahang will have said that they have given her chances but she did not heel it etc etc, in my opinon, i dun think drinking is the only issue, there must be some soliciting going on that the authority pin point her drinking as the major offences..u got to be clear about police and authority ya,..dun judge thing and state news on the surface, there are many hidden agenda not said yet.
