that is the nature of different political idealogies, You always want to differentiate yourself from the other party. So there is actually nothing wrong to disagree on every front.
As for language they used that depend upon :
1) the "form" of our education.
2) The demographics perception of their government.
3) The nature of frustration generated by the voters that was unable to displace but repressed.
So it takes 2 hands to clap.....you want better words in debates. You allow organization and different viewed to be hear and discuss openly.
You allow frustration to be openly express. --- Allow public lawful non violent protest.
Every day in the United States There are protest of every single Issue.....

it is a matter of different school of thought, and i respect that, since it takes two to clap, one can just clap with one hand with his or her buttock too. You are right that people have the right to their views, frustration or whatever violent protest, but it got to be logic, and more so is that people should take in criticism and comments in this platform too.

If the Iranian see and smell a fish in their politic, they have all the rights to protest, but do we?? We should be logic in a way to ask ourselves, do we need to knock our head against the wall? If you ask an Iranian woman about Singapore situation, she will tell you that you must be mad if not crazy to stage a protest in singapore for nothing. Again different school of thot.
Anyway, u sound like MR Spook...learn from star trek

So simple lor - cos the mainstream media from TV, radio, newsprint all filter and propagate what they (the government) wants the public to believe and hear rather then offer views, opinions that traverse the spectrum.
well, that is a part of a politician job requirment.
hOPE NOT everyone views it like u - cos then even in one's personal life everything is bound to be politicised!
it is not a matter of view, but simply professionalism. As a doctor you got to dig into blood , as a teacher you got to smell the marker ink, as a politician, you got to control the media.
I will check out the ads - local as well as overeas ads that requires a politician to control the media lah
Oops, overlooked lar - control - when in actuality is meant MANIPULATE
i dont think singaporeans is against PAP but against their policy.
It is more than against their policies. Many cannot stand their attitude, their greed. They are too highanded.
i dont think singaporeans is against PAP but against their policy.
But PAP makes the policy.
It seems like only those who are in the party or toe the party lines are the one(s) who seem to have all the answers and the rest in Singapore are below them.
TS must be a foreigner. get out of singapore u rice bowl stealer.
