germs/bacteria are everywhere, not necessarily confined to army uniforms and the guys who don them. come to think of it, the seat and bars/handles in the bus is probably choke full of them. how did you manage to get up the bus? did you seat on the bus as well? lean against the sides?

You are simply unbelievable. Do you think they enjoy running around in the sun all smelly and sweaty. They also want to sit in air-con like you and me. They have no choice. Even if you don't think they can protect the country, they are sacrificing their time and youth. You and your kids could sacrifice and put up with some discomfort. If you don't like it, you can take taxi. They can take any type of public transport they choose. In fact, I think it should be free for them. The next thing you're going to say are foreign labourers are not allowed to take public transport too. Soon people with dark skin cannot take public transport. Sounds a bit like South Africa during Apartheid era doesn't it. -
