I think that for the town council to do investments is totally ridiculous.... to think of it , PAP always say they wanted to help people , but i think for them is words speaks louder than actions..... They should think , not everyone has the $$$$ to pay for LUP , its time for PAP to wake up & think , before of this , people got to sell their flat , is it reasonable? -

resonable, if you sell your flat, your got money and reapply for a new flat, that will not only up the price of HDB new flats, it also hold you to bank housing credit.For you, you got a flat and a roof on top of you
for Govt, they get to earn money, churned the banks credit and loan business and thereby churn the economy from downturn to upturn.

HDB should be paying for the upgrade because they farked up the design.

Now HDB realised how stupid they had been, but they decide the people who lived in their shitty designed flat should pay for the architect's mistake.
HDB make so much money, won't kill them to fix the problem they created themselves.

If Singapore is a First World Country, why do you want to compare ourselves to a Third World Country like Sri Lanka ?Should we not compare ourselves with other First World Countries like Switzerland and Sweden ?
Why is it that Sweden with a higher tax system can have a situation of happy citizens that continue to procreate and result in the increase growth to their population - WITHOUT the need to import foreign talents or open their doors to New People ?

Never been a fair for any games. Every gamers outwit one another. Can we have 33% representation of the oppositions if we want a fair rule? They don't represent you or me but themselves and play their own agenda.
