Dun compare, every country is unique in its own way, we are not homogenous as japan or korea or taiwan, we are multi racial, and if our country need a man to control it, so be it, more mouths make thing more messy.
Of course every country citizens are complaining about their govt, that is natural, u go taiwan, chit chat with them and they tell you about their govt poor policies and problems, you go HK, same thing.
The other day, i just attended a Asia International Entertainment conference at Hongkong, Omg, you can see other countries complaining about their govt, much much more worst than here. And when they ask me about running an entertainment business in Singapore, I said no problem. Cos outside, i alway act guai guai like a true virgin Singapore gal. Must hv image mah.
You never know and proud of your country until you attend such international events ya
