food i understand. there are now less farmlands and more people to feed. price of food of course will go up.
TV tax is ?????????? what quality shows have they been offering for the past few years? they no longer cover alot of sports. there was WWE and and broadcast of international matches such as WC, eurocup in the past. but now, we have to subscribe to the ever-and-ever more expensive cable tv to watch these matches.S-league isn't a proper substitute.
and the lastest movies they broadcast are also 2-3 years old... not exactly the "latest" in any sense of the word.
and commercials are getting ridicuously long, with almost 5-7 minsutes of commercials for every 10 minutes of the show, especially so during the prime hours.
so what lame duck reason are they using to justify for the rise in TV tax?
and i have yet to see the advantage in rising the GST from the original 3% to the current 7%. in the end, the government still have to create a scheme to return back some of the gst revenue back to the people. then what is the point of increasing it in the first place?
and it is very heart breaking to see on ur recipes that for every meal you eat, esp those that come with a receipt, the amount you apid for GST.
gst for consumer products like computers, still not too bad. theyare non-necessities. but food? everyone has to eat everyday, and the government still wants to squeeze revenue out of our everyday right to existence by taxing us for what we eat?

How about we take revenge by voting for the opposition party in the next election to let the PAP people become jobless? -

It depends on where you are living in. If you live in Tanjong Pagar GRC, Marine Parade GRC or any GRCs that is walkover, you get a free 1 day holiday instead. -
