  Basically I think the MPs just listen to the residents' problems and then delegate his helpers to do the necessary like type the letters/send the emails/ check with relevant ministries/ make phone calls using his name.

  Go there say hi, tell them your problems, unwillingly jots it down, you may not even get to see the MP, ask you to go home and you say bye bye.

  only when election is coming, you get to see the MP, the other normal time will be the 7th month ghost festival dinner whereby the shopowner invited the MP...maybe you can get a peek of her/him.

  when the celebration hold at bedok resevoir park..

  if good , then got free buffet and mooncake lor..

  There are already foreigners in PAP. The health minister is a malaysian-born chinese, PRCs not included yet. Don't be surprised to find PRC ministers in future.
