I mean many Singaporeans(including me),no longer love this stupid countries anymore. We just treat this place as a working n earning money place,no longer care about any sh!t that happens here.
If our country is invaded by other countries, like Malaysia or Indonesia,we will simply take our money n run.I mean hey, dont blame us,i mean this is what our stupid fuk up PAP government wanted, isnt it?We are just granting their wishes.:)
That's one option. Will have to see what Singapore is like when I retire. If too expensive, retiring in another country may be the only choice. Can't expect the government to look after you. Have to make your dollar stretch.

Most of the people at the maximum glass ceiling pay cannot afford to retire in Singapore.

One more method as suggested by AndrewPKYap:
Kill the leaders of PAP before the elections.
I am not cursed to be born Singaporean. I feel that Singapore has taught me alot of valuable lessons about survival. The government has taught me alot about independence (meaning just depending on yourself). The English education I got gave me an advantage over alot of foreigners from Asia. In fact , I feel privileged to be born Singaporean.
It is this privilege that allowed me to migrate to another country which gave me a better lifestyle. I will not forget Singapore. She will always remain in my heart as the country which taught me the meaning of 'survival of the fittest' , 'think out of the box' and ' get out of your comfort zone'. I studied the 'foreign talent' policy and took it upon myself to be a foreign talent, sadly not in Singapore.
To Singapore, I remain always grateful. Love Singapore to bits.

Singapore is good! Education is good! It's designed such that tutors can earn!

Go, my son, for God shall bless you, as Singaporeans you must remember our MM LKY, all of us is like his childrens, growth with wings and free to fly, taught to be smart and live a healthy lifestyle.
So, wherever you are, everyday before any altars, kindly said a prayer for him. For whatever happens out there, strive and be good, and if a day come that you seek to return, he shall welcome you with open arms. For he loves his childrens so much that he gives his only son away. Amen and Awoman Angel

reverse psychology, most students who get tuition are bound to score not because of the tutor, because firstly, the parents told them that they paid so much to the con tutor, secondly, the feeling that I get tuition therefore i have to score and study hard.
Me no tutor also can pass mah

As a former tutor, I can absolutely say angel7030 is posting nonsense. Not every school has good information-tranferral techniques and a tutor can help the students in understanding the subject matter better. If angel7030 wants further proof, she is welcome to take the O levels geography and literature paper on her own.

Let her be la
I only know I like to take in students who are already failing and try my best to turn them into As or Bs. It's like a hobby :D
E.g. the most recent success I had is this H1 maths student who went from 30 pts to 60 pts because she worked hard and followed the strategy I laid out for her :D I was so happy :D

i just wants to hit those tutor only, u think serious ar,..please lah, relax abit lah, but you got to agree that students who get tuition get that psychology edge over others, they are more confident with a tutor, just like a player, he/she is more confident with a coach around ya.
Me alway get B...B stand for Boleh, sometime i get E also..stand for Excellent. When i start working, i realised that academy is secondary to office survival.

as long as you are happy with what you are, life is good, same to me, i am doing what i love in entertainment business, so life is happy and good too.
The ultimate happiness in life is not entirely about money, but to do what you like, that is the most important things, many peoples failed to realize it, but anyway, we are born to suffer.

What the hell!!???
I also do the same. Except I tend to get students who hate studying, hate practicing and yet I still like to train them into A or B students.
