I doubt so,, with all the prices increasing...

why cannot survive, prices increase, your commission also increase mah?? my beers and liquor prices also can increase,...that will balance up the expenditure.
I thot most of you Uncles are trained in jungle survivors and other survivor courses, why little bit increase, cannot survive liao?? bo ji

First of all, how many kids do you have? If no kids, then don't start a family. No worries. -
Depends on what you consider a good life.
a bmw to drive and paid petrol expenses.
a sit in office shake leg job, w secretary.
9 to 5 hrs
KTV entertainment paid by company every nite.
A 5 star condo with pool and gym
latest designer deco for home with HDTV large screen.
gourmet breakfast, lunch, dinner and even supper.
fat bank account.

our current generation has it good now, unlike the generation of the 50s and 60s. now got PSP, Xbox, Iphone, lappy, google, windows etc what have you.

I see my buddies in Singapore surviving in the urban jungle although they do complain occasionaly about the pints of blood lost.Why bo ji when those born in the 60s /70s got 3 or more testacles?

Survive and good life doesn't seemed to mesh very well in a sentence.
And a good life is subjective, i don't own a car and certainly have no intention of owning one. Am i having a bad life then ?

although u do not have a car or own a flat, transportation is well connected in sg with mrt, buses, cabs etc. there are plenty of hawkers and restuarants around, not to mention amenities abound, like shopping malls etc. although sg is in recession now, u still got a job, eve if u r jobless, there are still jobs around abeit many applications. gov giving GST credits on 1 July lol :) -

Not owning a car is a lifestyle and not an indication that you can't afford one.In fact the transport system is so good that if you dont go out much why need to have one?

there is nothing wrong with owning a car, privacy is sometimes important to an individual, time is another factor that govern the need to have a car, and also other like a big family, if you are single and alone, dun bother -

What is good life? It is different thing to different people. Wealth, health and happiness, not necessarily in this order. How much is enough? If you think you have enough of all 3, I think you have a good life.I still think you're bitcing and I think you're thinking of yourself rather than the next generation.

...If you read my post with a little more objectivity you would find my opinions does not clash with yours, though happiness i find is independent of wealth and health.I brought out the car example to say that a good life is subjective. What exactly constitutes a good life for our next generation?
