  The feeling I get from the forums is that the people are really pissed with the cursed despot and his running dogs over the foreigners issue but like Thatcher and her "poll tax" issue, these arrogant asslickers keep on antagonising the citizens once they have too much power.

  The difference is that Margret Thatcher was honorable but the cursed despot and his asslicking running dogs persecute opposition to win elections, otherwise they would have been kicked like dogs fucking on the streets.

  Just trying to keep the status quo...Unfortunately its pissing off everyone. Why should we fund this freeloaders when there are Singaporean families struggling just to keep their kids in school? I dont see China awarding scholarships to Singaporeans.

  Own people end up restricted lots by one reason or another, yet they give foreigners a plenty of chance

  Hopefully once they come over they dun end up seeing e pasture e greener elsewhere than Singapore after the scholarship study term.

  Now let's not get too racist or protectionist regarding "foreign talent" issues. Admit it, without them there will be stunted advancement. Even big investment banks love to poach talents from each other. If we only try to breed Singaporean talents, what is stopping them from going overseas (i.e being poached).

  If foreign students are putting pressure on us, it's probably time to work on competiting with them and its a healthy competition. Just look at the US car company lobbying for protection for decades. What do they end up with? Debts, cars that no one wants, labour union and high wages? Competition is healthy so let us begin!

  I believe the crux to attracting foreign talent is to make them love Singapore. If they really do love Singapore and are proud to be one, there's no point whether they are previously from China, India or anywhere else.

  Yes, they are so great.  We hope that your employer will sack you and replace u with foreigner doing your job and pay the foreigner much lower salary than what you get.

  This is only a trap and false claims from so called consultants!!

  They imply in the following advertisements that PRC students can be enrolled

  into SG poly or Uni so easily and get 80% subsidy!!This is wrong!!

  U will get a scholarships (with bond of course)if u are a scholar ,after

  many interviews and competitions!!If your results are so so and even

  very good A level or O levels results but not granted with a scholarship,

  then u have to pay FULL cost IF u can be enrolled!!

  I dunt think u can enrol if the results is so so,even u want to pay

  for full cost.SG Uni placement is NOT for SALE!!

  SG is not rich,nor so poor to sell UNI placement!!

  Tell your PRC and other the reality.

  Or else they will cry at MOE and say SG gavaman cheat them!!

  in facts,they are cheated without doing proper home work!!

  2.for PR,u need either academic qualifications or money!!

  The latter needs mini. S$ 1 million up to 2 million.

  so they can pay RMB 150,000 ,get a degree and become a PR!!
