Frankly, there are ignorant foreigners who don't know them well. This is where we come in to expose the leechgime to them. I mentioned here before, i met a PRC told me she wanted to become citizen. She just arrived, did not know the ways of the ruling party. I told her how our ruling party works, then she thanked me and told me she changed her mind to become citizen. -

There are many more need to be "saved". What I emphasized was that China govt pay pension. IN sg it is different. WE the people pay the ruling party pension, they don't give us pension. INstead they going to force us to buy our own pension which is annuity. Like that the china people understand. -

the economy factor itself is unstable..from 1986 to now Sg has gone thru 3-4 recession..with each time rocovering more slower than the last.
in 1986- sg own recession
1997-SE Asia economic crisis
2001-911 incident (if that counts)
2008-2009-wold wide economic crisis
with each incident, the number of people sporeans losing jobs goes more, while the FT/FW workers also grew more.
while companies abuse it to "axe " local and get their official excuse to hire FT/FW,i believe a recent repot on the ST where these companies are using the IC of locals to physically not working or were ex employees but still put them in the list so as they got their Ratio citeria and permission to hire more FT/FW.
add the recent implenented system to boost those companies who need help, the sux part is like what the opposition has stated-prone to abuse again..with no proper checking rules to ensure the genuine from the fake.
guess we have to thank for our govt for allowing it to be abused.

With the help of locals then the foreigners will know how shitty the ruyling party is. So I think it is us who can help them to make decision not to convert to citizens. Just don't wanna pee ay pee keeping harvesting what they desire for at the expense of the locals.

Your friend is thinking...today Singaporean ,tomorrow Australian.For me It's yesterday Singaporean ,today Japanese and tomorrow...maybe I go to New Zealand. -

That is not my friend, a china lady who just arrived. She really knew nothing about the way the ruling party treats the people. I was just helping her to know the ruling party. I come across cases of people converting to sg citizens and later regret. Sigh! These ppl kena conned lorha ha, u really migrating to NZ? Personally speaking, to me NZ good for holidays, i will not wanna stay there. My friend who migrated there asked me to go there work and migrate there, my answer is no.

Honestly, my first choice would have to be Canada but I've been there and don't that so why Wellington New Zealand? Most of my relatives from Singapore are now New Zealanders besides the terrain and climate there is quite similar to Nipponland.

Want to compare ? SURE ??? Okay, compare with 1st world Swiss standard . Their transport on the dot. Want to compare? Compare with French 'MRT'. Its service Frequency is superb. Miss any train, no issue , another one on the way in a flash or short while.
2. I disagree with his method of comparison.
3. I ever worked with many FT colleagues before. They also complain the waiting time what. So, what is his Basis for his comments? What is the sample size used? Who are the foreigners he talking about? Are there ZERO foreigners who complain the same way as singaporeans?
4. How do you know they happy that bus come in under 30 minutes?
Who happy? Which one? All happy? Could some foreigners have higher expectation also?
I suggest there be a public debate held to talk to him. Like this clearer and more spontaneous.

Must understand pee ay pee, they compare on things that benefit them for eg comparing public servants, pay and pay ministers' salary with those of the corporate ppeople.
WE are just so shortchanged to have such a greedy, selfish, self serving ruling party in Singapore. The sad thing is they will continue to rule generations after generations.

Yeah, the weather here is horrible so is the ruling party. The only good stuff about sg are it is safe, lots of good food, convenient in travelling -
Teach them Singlish so they can integrate better into Singaporean society.
Make them all serve NS so they can appreciate Singapore better.
Remove special privileges of discounted CPF rates when they convert to Singapore PR or citizenship.

If opposition supporters is going to critise PAP and later praise each other and congradulate among themselves here, nothing is going to move other than just for the sake of getting that happy emotion.

I am not against foreign workers and expats.
Foreign workers meaning the Banglas working as labourers and Filipinos working as nurses.
Foreign expats come from USA, Japan, Europe, Canada, Australia and Korea.
I now hate those refugees who even come here and play office politics with us locals.
If they land here they should be 'tao chiu' (count blessings) and act humble and courteous to us at all times.
Why don't I as a Chinese go over to Sydney and try to go bossy over the Caucasians who are bred there?
Whether we are right or wrong, those refugees don't have the right to play politics with us!
