All the political parties in Singapore have their version of morality based on some form of religion/s, is there any party that have their moral values based on the welfare of the people of Singapore at large?
Wealth of the people is a goal... it's not and cannot be moral values...

sgN00b, accurate analysis of situation. But every party in Singapore boasts of its own morality.
got, foam party at sentosa.
Truly for the people only. As a multi religions society, the ability to live in peace and harmony is already a blessing, we should not take politic into religion context, especially in a religion tolerable country like Singapore. In many country, Religion are used as a tool in their political and self interest advancement, but these countries alway end up either in wars or in a third world condition.

But morality is always taken into context of forming a political party? So I am asking if religious views can be taken out of a party's morality?

Highly unlikely.
I mean the odds are religious organisations would have the numbers to swing the votes in your favour. And if you want them to vote for you, declaring you're secular is rather counterproductive.
It's democracy at its best no? Numbers is best.

In my opinion, as a political party, to use religions as the moral values should be the last thing people should do... Although political parties and religions do shared a lot of similarities.
It seems better in some countries, but mainly because of one reason, to have faith/to believe a religion, is much easier than to the same thing to a political party... So you can find political parties often borrow values and ideas from religions, mainly just because that makes politician's job easier, right?
But politics still just politics at the end of day, it's a dirty thing... you can pack it with beautiful values and ideas, but inside, they are all the same...
To most of the political parties, religions are just tools, people's wealth or anything they promised, are lies or their mid-term goals, for the long-run, they are all the same, get control of the gov/country...

Sure, the Nazi party did it, so are the communist party, they dun believe in most religion, and the religion was never a tool in their advocacy toward power.
King Asoka of India was well know as a good Buddhist King until my lecturer teaches us that he ruled india with a velvet glove, morally speaking he was using buddhism (the glove) to control and stabilise his people as buddhism calm people and create less violence. In this way, he holds power(the hand) and is more easy to control his people just by mentioning Buddha peace and harmony scriptures.
Same goes the Romans, where they found that Jesus was getting popular, they embrace it and make it a Roman Catholic that spread thru out it empire thereby given them a image that they are good and holy.
Today, you see the terrorist also using god name to gather sentiment among believer to fight a war and die in the name of God.
I remember during one election when i was young, a guy by the name of what Tang did mentioned that PAP are christian chauvinist, and later when he lost, he sprinted off faster than a dog.

But those societies have a religious majority in a single religion. I am suggesting that whatever morality that the present government is presenting better be without religious influence for those with or withour religious belief.

Simple, by starting a petition against the legislation. Technically, the President can review the petition and block the legislation from being enacted only once.

The bills of any legislation were passed in the parliament headed by the president and chaired by the chief justice, and if there is a petition against the legislation resulting in the president authorising it to be stop, isn't he knocking his own head.

True, we are not homogenous society unlike the rest, jap, korea, german, or event the thais.
The govt here base on the founders, meritocracy and the icon of our flag to influence the people and therefore identify its belonging. Religious is a very sensitive issue here, unlike the heads of the other countries, they can visit church or monastary or even temple to protray their common belief and thereby influence their people, our leaders are also multi regligous, they performed their belief prayer or ceremony privately. Therefore, religous influence can never play a role in our morality here.

Nope, the bill has not been passed yet, hence the ability to veto. The president may not know the full effect of the bill in actual working but some parts of society may voice their concern.

Then is should debated thru MPs from all the consituencies, and petition should be make know to the relevant MPs involve. This is the framework of how our govt works, from grassroot to parliament, and voting is every one rights

Not if the ruling party expounds that confucianism philosophy is always right and some moral highgrounds should never be questioned.

talking about confucianism, Me very confuse liao. But I thot confucianism is not a religion, but rather a teaching of upright whereby good family is set as the base.
