i am asking you to enlighten me on your previous comment regarding me, missing your point.
My point is that this is just a school competition. So if a chinese national student study there, why cant he/she represent the school? Be it their skin colour or where they are born or originated? If all they want is a singaporean only completition, why call is a inter-school competition?
the thing is if they had won, would they hadcomplaint abt that? the fact they did, i am pretty sure they lost, else why bother (they could even b the next headline that said, see even local have talent, etc).....
it is the same as ppl who claim that it is their swimming tunks too big, hence cant swim. Those are just cry babies.....
if u lose, suck it up and take it like a man..... u lost not coz u are born in sg and they win coz they are born in china or where ever.... u lost coz u are not as skillful as ur opponent..... and to complaint coz of that really make u a sore losser....
so... did i miss u point or din i miss ur FT/FL bashing?

that i agree....
they are creating a drift from current locals and new migrants. If the migrant instead of socialising with the local and integrate into one... the implication for a divided social society is gona cost sg alot.....
the thing is that most sg dun see why the need to have FT/Fl. that all developed country have a certain amount of foreign intrusion to their local population. In this new age, it is hard to survice with ur door close and let the world passby, esp true for a smal country like sg.
just like the parki in uk.... unlike the black whom had intergrate with the whites, they isolate themself and live out in mist of the local. Most of the time they are invisible to the local, but resentment against them run all time high. leading to riots and clash that result in both $ and live lost....

Next time, the school sports scene will be dominated by all these foreign students brought in by the various schools to help them win titles.
Local students can just focus on their studies and forget about wasting their time in sports or CCAs.
