No need pay hospital bill.

I hope you know England taxpayers pay much higher taxes than Singapore.
These types of benefits are not free and come from taxpayers.
If you're working now, you would have to pay 40% of your annual salary for free hospital bills in future.

So?
Pay high tax in return govt take care of the people and the old are being taken care of. This is fair deal.
in sg, we keep paying and paying but we are not taken care of. in sg, we pay pension for the PAP, but PAP wants us to pay our own "pension" by making buying annuity compulsory. GST will rise to 9% 10% subsequently. and our dear lhl say to raise GST to help the poor, but we know it is bullshit.
In singapore, it is the people who take care of the govt and not govt taking care of us.
