i heard that there r about 500 thousand PRCs but i dont wan to believe that ....any1 no how many r there in singapore?

Think there's a post somewhere that said there's been like 300k-400k of PRC Chinese that has applied to be PR or citizen in Singapore.
If you include PRCs on worker pass i think you should hit 500k

I am not surprised these PRCs will drive the locals out of sg one day.
They have bad habits too, and why is our pap controlled local mediacorpse keep showing programme to show the bad habits of locals and not china chinese? This is discrimination. I hate that programme. Hosted by zhou cong qing, patricia mok, the fat lady and another guy. Nowdays, mediacorpse showing more and more china production programmes for the china chinese, yuck pui, yucks, bloody PAP!

times are bad and our economy is doing badly they should cut down on travelling. I know recently the senile oppressor, lky went china. Actually he should draw his world class salary from China and not singapore since he takes so good care of china people. we still waiting for his demise.

Young kids to feed and take care of ?
Old parents to care for after a hard days work?
If anything.. they dumped their families back in China so that they can earn money to send back. Ofcors they will take on any jobs they can get their hands on.

oh yes, then will the salary be sufficient for one to take care of family and cope with the high expenses in Singapore. Foreigners working in this job has no family here to take care. AFter conversion of their sg salary they still have lots of money to use back in their homeland. Their homeland cost of living is low. Well from what i see, they're more willing to work and willing to take a lower salary. That's all it means to a capitalist state. Efficiency Effective and Economic.

Well i guess i could say 1 day i might be like that, so i'm doing something now that is within my power to make sure it doesn't happen.

Well.. the only option you have to prevent that from happening .. is to become a government servant.
Right now.. I don't think PRC is allowed to work in those departments.. but I don't know if a converted Singaporean may just be given that same job you seek.
So far.. the requirements are not "only Singapore born" applicants may apply.
