i discovered govt can never think in our interests because there are always competing interests between the 2 groups.
Therefore, beyond the basic help that govt render to individuals... we are on our own if we want the best for ourselves.... which in some cases means goes against the interest of the government..

WE have a govt who is into self serving so it is understandable they are not interested. Lots of $$$$ left in last year community fund. the useless, heartless lhl already stated a number of times singapore is not a welfare state. He short of stating that they including himself and PAP exist for the purpose of profit making, earning money at our expense as their top priority.

we only can apply for financial aid when we dont have money in our bank.......

they are also very tight and rigid in giving financial aid when people are in need that is why there is so much $$$$ leftover from last year community fund. I was told the aid is only from $100 to $300 that is all. my neighbour and husband not working, husband's business failed and suffering from multiple sicknesses, neighbour cannot work cos gotta take care of husband. She applied for financial aid but was rejected. -
Solution is to get rid of PAP the uncaring despots whose main interest is to self serving at our expense.
