lol.
well, i'm not going to dig up his old posts, but it sounds like more like he is afraid that gays might introduce their alternative lifestyle into his bloodline, rather than the specific hate for gays (like hitler hating the jews)
no i am not. OUt there in the world and sg there are people condemning gays.
Hope u don't harbour the motive of posting the nick of the forumer here to start flame war.

That depends! Do you fantasize about it even when you're not looking at it?
But personally i think i define homosexuality as only being able to be attracted to someone of the same sex (meaning, capable of loving).
Having only sex but no emotional attachment doesn't really classify as homosexuality to me. I mean, then every man who has been to prison would have been a homosexual.

hmm. i kinda disagree with that. some people aren't gays, but they think they are. i'm speaking right out of the hat here, but aren't there cases where like girls who are straight, but experimented before and they thought they were gay, but they never were?

when I was born, I was classified a boy. then I have many boy friends, they are nice buddy. we held hands when we were young. when I got older, I only hold hands with girls. I married a girl.
the beauty of man is that they think and act in my wavelength. the beauty of women is that they do many things good and nice that man cannot do. I appreciate both.
I don't look at their arse to find their beauty, actually, everything that come from arse is no good. there is no such thing as "their shit don't stink"

I think when people are complaining about homosexuals they're mostly complaining about male homosexuals.

you give me too much credit.
hmm. i think most ppl in sg here don't agree with their lifestyle, which is different from condemning gays.
what i define as condemning gays, would be like rednecks driving their truck and taking pot shots at gays with their shotguns just to show their hate.
and also, idiots who wave around banners saying "God hates gays", which is totally bullshit.
i don't see that in singapore. rather, i just see that ppl in singapore disagree with their lifestyle, and do not encourage it. that's all. nobody's hunting down anyone.

cool down, nobody is deliberately twiisting what you said. Either you din't make it clear to me or I didn't understand what you say.
need to go out. will come back to you. I don't agree with some of the things you said.

You know when i bring out the arse argument it was meant to mean that i would never be able to look at a man the same way i would look at a woman, i can't ever be made to like the shape of a man over a woman. I did not meant it to be literal.

Curiosity and experimentation is just a phase, and many get over it eventually. Fantasies don't count either.

I disagree with the lifestyle of even my colleagues, that's how life is going to be. You'd never totally agree with even the lifestyle of your wife.
If homosexuals want to have kinky sex in their own bedroom that's fine with me. It's their own property.
I may not like their lifestyle, but i would resist any attempts to legalize any discriminations against them.

We can't be so sure since the laws here are a lot stricter. But in the playground, bullies are probably wrecking the same emotional havoc, because they have been conditioned by their parents to regard gays and sissies are the same disgusting lot.
The government has been open in accepting the need to tolerate gays at the workplace, but on the quiet, it clamps down on overt expressions of their lifestyle.

i think alot of people are overexaggerating about how discriminated they are? to be truthful, the way i see it, it's the people who don't agree with the alternative lifestyle who are being discriminated here.
if you don't support discrimination, then you should apply that to everyone, not just to a specific group of people.
i don't see any treatment in singapore which resembles anything like those dark times of USA where blacks and coloured folks aren't allowed to patronize certain stores etc.
i'm fine if they keep it in the bedroom, but i think nowadays, it's going beyond that, pro-gays are pushing that it is alright, it is natural, it is the alternative lifestyle. they are getting more aggressive in wanting to be recognised as natural and well, don't shoot me, i don't think it's natural at all. - take the miss california incident... manipulative gay individuals taking advantage of the controversy that it is politically correct to support the gay lifestyle, to pressure others into giving comments to show their "support" for them

The ones who realise that it's not just experimentation are the ones who remain. The rest are the ones who find that it's not what they're looking for. I still don't think it's sufficient grounds to say that you can be permanently influenced to switch sexual orientation.

oh definitely. i think it's wrong not to love them as they are, but loving them doesn't mean i have to accept that their lifestyle is correct. neither does it mean i cannot talk negative about their lifestyle.
like i detest smoking, i have smoking friends, and i'll always tell them to quit.

not enough studies done anyway.
but even so, i wouldn't like it if a gay comes around telling my kid that it's normal and alright and invites him over to "experiment and see if he likes it"

If they keep it in the bedroom i'm fine with it as well.
However i don't really want to see Gay is Right! posters all over my void decks either. I don't really want mass events of homosexuals kissing and fondling each other in public. But i don't want to hear about campaigns telling children it is alright to be gay because given their impressionable young minds they're going to experiment.
Granted, they're not natural. But considering they can't really reproduce you have to wonder how homosexuals keep existing throughout history. They exist, end of story.
If they wish to have civil unions to make it easier for them to function legally, fine.
But they are forever going to be the minority, and i have no wish to see them push their lifestyle on us. I won't try to throw them into rehab in order to force the gayness out of them nor would i say it is wrong.

I agree with what part of what you have said, that being anti-discrimination goes both ways. That is why I find it sad that adoption centres with Christian and Catholic patronage in the UK have to close or change names because of the new anti-discriminatory laws. It's not as if gay couples and single parents have other adoption centres to go to there.
However, it is difficult to support the segment of the anti-alternative lifestyle lobby that only says, "It's disgusting/unnatural/a slippery slope/etc" without reasoned dialogue. Unfortunately, they are the most vocal of the bunch too. It could also be that the tides are changing, just as we now condemn any views that support racism, deny the Holocaust or detest mixed marriages.

That is an issue of dealing with peer pressure isn't it?

yes, but then you'll have idiots coming in and saying that i condemn gay lifestyle and i hate gays, yada yada.
when i am just simply not agreeing that their lifestyle is not normal, and it's not accepted as natural.
those are the people i'm annoyed with

They need working on too even though there hasn't been a push to correct them. They are only making the backlash worse.

but that's the problem now. they want to push to be recognised as natural and right.
while everyone keeps thinking they're being discriminated, they're actually more and more aggressive. like that case that happened a few mths back in usa?
all the gays decided to teach everyone a lesson by strongarming society.
"if you don't accept us, we're going to show you how we can screw up the economy"
and they encouraged all the gays only to patronize gay stores.
everything thinks gays are being bullied or they are weak. but they're getting aggressive

you can see from this topic alone, how many people keep confusing the issue of, not agreeing their lifestyles, and hating them personally.
it's abit ridiculous
so is being 'heterosexual' being 'normal' then...?
one is already discriminating against them by simply saying that being 'homosexual' is "not normal"
