One would suspect HC and her award would cost the party 10% loss in votes.

(a) it is official and public that she was behind the selling of Singapore power gens. It is known also that she was behind the loss making investments in high profile investments outside singapore. That means straight forward that she could have moved Singapore's assets overseas and lost the money!
(b) Singaporeans like meritcracy and pushing HC up would not convince most voters.
Thats why one would reasonably expect that the party would lose around 10% votes. In other words, the party need to do something more to recover this loss of 10% votes. Perhaps by massive flats upgrading?
